Welcome to our farm!

The Common Table

We are an urban farm and market project of Flemingdon Park Ministry.

The Common Table began in 2017 in the hopes of helping to alleviate food insecurity in Flemingdon Park and the surrounding neighbourhood. Church of Our Saviour Don Mills generously gifted use of their land to FPM, and a farm was born!

All of the produce we grow is distributed to families and seniors in Flemingdon Park, many of whom are newcomers to Canada. We are part of a network of agencies and community leaders working to create greater access to healthy, organic food for Flemingdon residents. Together, we are creating alternatives for a more just and equitable food system for all.

We are a multilingual community organization providing space, food and community for residents of Flemingdon Park.

Building community through compassionate service and care.

What People Say About Our Services

Newcomer Skills

At English class I am learning to speak better. It has helped me to solve problems like going to the doctor, or grocery shopping or at the bank because I can communicate better. It has also helped with my mental health because I am happy to be here and speak with other people.

Newcomer Skills

I have learnt a lot, I was alone and depressed, I had two bouts of cancer, the staff here encouraged me to keep coming and I started feeling better. I come to many programs; it makes me feel blessed to be around FPM’s people
